Boca do Lobo introduces Newton Family: luxury furniture collection

“Through our exclusive and luxury furniture, we at Boca do Lobo intend to inspire the design world with our creations, focused on the craftsmanship of older times, brought to life in new, innovative ways. Today, we are focusing on the Newton family” – Boca do Lobo

The Newton family was inspired by Sir Issac Newton’s seminal discovery of the law of gravity. Rightly famous for being at the forefront of harnessing new techniques and concepts, Boca do Lobo traveled back in time for a head-turning masterpiece composed of gleaming spheres and semi spheres amassed one on top of the other, held together by gravity itself. The result was an arresting ode to art and science, with the spherical components looking like modular parts of a molecular diagram writ large.

“We are still working hard on new challenges for artisans and designers; new techniques, materials and concepts are still being tested now it’s a “MOMENTUM”. Newton is our truly moment of inspiration, completed by spheres and semi spheres to create this exquisite look. Inspired in Newton’s law of gravity, we were looking for an object capable to reflect the sphere attraction as they were joined with their mass, force and energy.”

Newton Mirror

Defying laws of physics, this futuristic piece of luxury furniture has been designed by taking inspiration from its elder brother – Newton Console. Newton mirror is a standout piece of international desire that distinguishes itself from all the other designs by its futuristic forms.

Three versions make the choice even more interesting – combining black lacquer brass spheres, gold plated spheres and walnut root veneer in three exquisite choices, the designers raised the bars on luxury dining tables.
