Exhibitors get ready for January Furniture Show 2018
The January Furniture Show (JFS) continues to grow as the UK’s premier furniture and interior furnishings event. The four-day show is set to return to Birmingham’s NEC with a fresh new look from January 21 to 24. It is going to be a bonanza for buyers in every furnishing sector – retail, contract, interior design, hotels and leisure. In every hall, there will new exhibitors joining the comprehensive list of big, developing and specialist brands.

Having sold over 50 million mattresses in 35 countries, Simba Sleep are a force to be reckoned with, and are showing at JFS for the first time. Their stand in Hall 5 – a destination hall for beds and mattresses, will feature their unique foam and conical spring mattresses with their Simbatex top layer. They will also show their duvets and pillows and other accessories.

Spain’s Fama, whose modern and colourful sofas always stand out, are back in 2018 having missed the 2017 show. Bringing their latest 70’s inspired modular sofas, chairs and recliners in bright reds, limes and pale blues, their Hall 2 stand will be a feast of creativity and buzz.

New in Hall 4 is Germany’s hülsta. Showing a wide section of its highly contemporary living, dining and bedroom furniture, it is introducing new design software called furniview, which makes it easy for customers to plan the furniture for their rooms. Many of its ranges incorporate mixed textures – wood, glass, laminates and metal, making ‘mix and match’ easy and allowing customers to design their own look.

Hall 1 has several new exhibitors including Furninova, a Scandinavian producer of home furniture and whole interior concepts with focus on design, comfort and quality. Its products are exported worldwide and it makes its introduction at JFS with several new sofa collections in plush velvets and smart plains.

India Jane is a luxury interiors brand that design and supply complete collections of elegant furniture and complementary accessories, including lighting. Its diverse ranges draw inspiration from Classical and Colonial themes, bringing them into the 21st Century with on-trend fabrics, finishes and modern details. Showing at JFS for the first time, its Hall 3 stand will introduce buyers new to its brand, with distressed wood, painted and ornate ranges.

Other new exhibitors include Spink & Edgar, Siren and Vale in Hall 1, FibreGuard in Hall 2, Extreme Lounging and Hines of Oxford in Hall 3, Devonshire Pine & Oak and Mmilo in Hall 4 and The Great Chair Company and Slumberdream in Hall 5.

Set to be the best January Furniture Show yet, with a stellar cast of exhibitors in every hall, buyers will have choice at every turn.
