Society Table by Arne Jacobsen

The Society Table was originally designed in 1952 as a gift for the American-Scandinavian Foundation in New York. Carl Hansen & Søn is now introducing Jacobsen’s visionary design, making it accessible to design enthusiasts worldwide.

The desk is made of solid wood, veneer, and steel. The tabletop is covered with fine-structured leather, the drawer unit combines wood and veneer, and the table shelf – with two compartments that fit up to A4 and M65 envelopes – is made of wood with glass sides. The table features an integrated, brushed, stainless-steel desk lamp. Jacobsen designed all of the elements, including the conical lamp that completes the modernistic look.

Wicker version of Poul Kjærholm’s PK1 chair

Originally designed in 1955, Carl Hansen & Søn is presenting Poul Kjærholm’s light and elegant PK1 chair in a wicker version. True to Kjærholm’s original vision, the wicker version is an addition to the beautiful, clean-cut PK1 chair design featuring flag halyard, launched by Carl Hansen & Søn in 2017.

The new PK1 chair is made of stainless steel and natural wicker. The wicker is crafted from the stem of the climbing palm, which can grow up to 160 meters in length.

Kjærholm’s PK1 chair is also available in natural or black flag halyard, and in an outdoor version with a stainless steel frame combined with light brown or black weather-resistant flag halyard.

Hunting Table by Børge Mogensen

Originally designed for a masculine environment such as a hunting cabin, Børge Mogensen’s Hunting Table radiates an inviting, organic elegance. The Hunting Table, with model number BM1160, is available in oak, walnut, and a combination of these wood types, with various finishes. The diagonal brace bars are available in either stainless steel or brass.

KK41180 + KK41181 Sofas by Kaare Klint

In 1930, Kaare Klint designed a sofa for the office of Danish Prime Minister Thorvald Stauning. Carl Hansen & Søn is now reviving the elegant design. Featuring high sides and characteristic crossbars, the upholstered coupé sofa is a stylish testament to the vision of one of Denmark’s most important designers.

Kaare Klint’s sofa, which was originally conceived for three people, and which has since been supplemented with a two-seater version, is exclusive in terms of both its design and materials: fine wood and exquisite leather upholstery. The tight upholstery and the sculptural frame demand exacting craftsmanship, which, in true Klint spirit, is detailed and uncompromising.

The Kaare Klint sofa is available as two-seater sofa, model number KK41180, and a three-seater sofa, model number KK41181 in oak, walnut, or black-painted oak, with upholstery in leather and goat skin.

Preludia Series by Brad Ascalon

The versatile Preludia Series of chairs, bar stools, tables and bar tables brings outstanding modern design and craftsmanship to both public and private spaces.

The Preludia Series – designed to meet today’s demands for functionality, quality, comfort and aesthetics – marks the first collaboration of Carl Hansen & Søn with an American designer Brad Ascalon. Featuring chairs and tables in a wide range of options, Preludia unites Carl Hansen & Søn’s design heritage and Ascalon’s signature modern, minimalist approach.

The Preludia Series comprises a wide, unified range of chairs and tables with an organic expression. Emphasizing human-centric design and exceptional comfort, the series responds to varied user needs in such diverse environments as canteens and restaurants, meeting and conference areas, offices, airports, and living spaces.
